Following a violent Martian invasion, only one man remains, and his name is Kris Kringle. He wants revenge and he has an eternity to take it!

This piece was inspired by the legend that Santa is immortal. What would happen if something catastrophic were to occur on Earth and Santa was the last man standing?

Above, you'll find a closer view of this piece. The vector line-work was completed in Adobe Illustrator, and the colors were added in Adobe Photoshop. For me, the biggest challenge was utililzing two point perspective to create the background scene.

A preliminary sketch for this piece can be seen above. As you can see, the final product was pretty faithful to the sketch. I spent some time debating what kind of moustache Santa would have.
